Welcome to the William Pinkerton Memorial Primary School!

We hope you enjoy browsing our website and find the information helpful. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Meet our newly elected School Council representatives. One representative has been elected from each year group to carry out the role. The role of a School Council representative involves:

>Attending meetings once a month

>Encouraging other pupils to use their voice and share their ideas

>Making the views and ideas of their peers known to staff

>Looking out for others

>Setting a good example to others in the WPMPS

We wish these pupils all the best in their new roles this year. Well done!

Festival success!!!

The pupils from the William Pinkerton had a very successful season and both Portstewart and Coleraine Speech and Drama Festivals. There were several 1st, 2nd and 3rd places brought home as well as some Highly Commended certificates. The school choir also took part in Coleraine Music Festival and sang beautifully when the adjudicator visited the school. We are very proud of all the children who took part and represented the school so well. Well done!!

As your Principal my vision is to; secure a well led, managed and governed school connected to its community, staffed by a strong team of professionals all working together to multiply benefits for your family and to ensure each child in the school family is fully engaged in their learning, thriving and achieving their full potential.  In the years that lie ahead I look forward to working in partnership with all members of the William Pinkerton Memorial Primary School family and the wider community to make these hallmarks a reality for your child.
