Big Schools' Birdwatch
2nd January to 22nd February
Every year we love taking part in the world's biggest wildlife survey!
We had to identify common garden birds and record the number that visited our school garden. We then sent our findings to the RSPB.
1. Attract birds to our school garden!
2. A bird quiz: time to learn the names of all the birds that could appear!
3. Bird Week Activities
The class was split into four groups. Four different activities were planned: comparing bird weights, website research, making bird cakes and a survey of the different birds that visited our school garden. Each group had the opportunity to take part in all four activities.

Day 4
Having completed the survey we sent our results to the RSPB.
Ruby the Parrot
On Tuesday 26th February, Finlay's Dad brought Ruby the parrot into school. It was a fantastic visit and we learned lots of interesting facts about keeping a pet parrot.
